The Ageing warhorse Court's In Session resurrected his career with another demoralising front-running display to claim the 2006 Warwick Stakes first-up with champion jockey Danny Beasley in the saddle.
Court's In Session fought on strongly to hold out the fast favourite Racing To Win and $12 chance Desert War.
"He is such a terrific horse," Walter said. "He has been able to add to an already imposing record by winning here. He is such a brave horse and a favourite of many."
Walter also reserved alot praise for jockey Danny Beasley. "It was a great ride, simply brilliant" he said.
Beasley, who has struck a close association with Court's In Session, said the victory was one of his most emotional.
"He is an old champ," Beasley said. "It is very exciting, very humbling."
