"I've lived all my life to do this."
An emotional trainer Lee Freedman is virtually speechless after Miss Andretti's victory
The Australian's simply dominated the 2007 King Stand stakes but none better than Champion Australian sprinter Miss Andretti who proved to be simply a class above the rest of the field when Craig Newitt guided the star filly to win the King's Stand Stakes in record breaking time!
The 3-1 favourite came through well in the second half of the five-furlong sprint after racing where the pace was early on.
She quickened up superbly when Criag asked her for the effort with 225m left to race she simply exploded clear of the rest of the field to go on and claim her fourth win out of four starts this year.
Dandy Man, who travelled alone on the stand side, swooped late for second but was unable to get past Miss Andretti as she exploded away to break the track record in great style. Not to far behind with another horse from down under was Magnus back in third, just ahead of last year's winner and Global Sprint Challenge Champion of 2006 Takeover Target.
