The name of the piece says it all! This sensational piece has been dedicated to one of the greatest WFA champion race horses of the modern era. Savabeel was placed into "CHAMPION" status when he won the 2004 Carlton Draught Cox Plate as a 3YO, No other 3YO had won the great WFA race since the mighty Octgaonal. With the sheer brilliance of Chris Munce in the Saddle he gave Savabeel the best cart into the race one could ever hope for, at the top of the home turn Chris asked the mighty 3YO Savabeel for his efforts and away they went winning the race in great fashion, beating some of the best WFA & champion race horses Australia has to offer.
This piece consists of two great action shots of Chris & Savabeel in action one being the 2004 Spring Champion Stakes & the other being the 2004 Cox Plate. In the centre of these two great race shots is a photograph of Chris in the mounting yard in which he has signed.
This truly magnificent piece of racing memorabilia has been professionally framed using acid free matt boards , gold description plaques and finsihed off in a solid mahogany polished frame.
