Sepoy crushed his rivals in the $3.5 million Golden Slipper at Rosehill 02/04/2011 to earn his place among the great two-year-olds of the modern era.
But Snowden's training performance cannot be understated as he has was able to get Sepoy up for two "grand finals" in one preparation after the colt won the Blue Diamond in February.
"He is one special colt," he said. "He's the best two-year-old in Australia, probably the world, right now."
SEPOY becoming the fifth juvenile to complete the Blue Diamond-Golden Slipper double since Courtza in 1989. The others to achieve it were John's Hope (1972), Manikato (1978) and Bounding Away (1986);
The champion colt being heavily backed from $3.40 into $2.60 and becoming only the second favourite, after Sebring in 2008, to win the race in two decades;
SEPOY becoming the first Slipper winner to retain favouritism for the race from the day betting markets were first released back in January.
