Takeover Target , Jay Ford & Joe Janiak are on top of the world after yet another international victory over night in Singapore at Kranji Racecourse in the Group 1 Krisflyer International Sprint over 1200m. Fellow Aussie Magnus also done Australia proud running a galant second giving the Aussies the Quinella on the international stage!
Jay Ford got Takeover Target away cleanly from barrier two & straight onto the rails to sit in second position most of the way, as they come to the home turn Jay niggled at Takeover Target and he skipped to the lead with great ease. Jay was absolutley swinging on the champ as they got to the 250m mark Jay clicked Takeover Target up and he moved away from the rest of the field like he was at track work!
Magnus with Damien Oliver on board loomed up to challenge Takeover Target for the lead however he showed his true bulldog fighting qualities as we all know he does and held Magnus and on the line by half a length and also created a new track record!!!!!
This was Jay Fords 30th ride on the champ from his 31 starts now toppling the $5million mark in Prize Money.
