This extraordinary nine-year-old joined a small and select group - Manikato, Lord and Tie The Knot - to win a Group race in four successive years. Zipping posted career win No. 16 on a Heavy 9 track on which he had never previously encountered and one he did not handle.
The gelding's class lifted him through the conditions and above his rivals as he won his fourth Sandown Classic by two lengths, the biggest margin in any of his victories.

As for retirement, Owner Nick Williams said that decision would rest with the horse.
"He'll decide that. He has done that much for us that he can decide when he doesn't want to race any more," Williams said.
