Since moving to Queensland at the end of 2005, Bowditch has really stamped himself as a genuine carnival jockey.
With wins on Deuxieme in the Bernborough Handicap and Hard To Catch in the Prime Minster's Cup and BTC Sprint coupled with numerous placings in group races, Bowditch is fast becoming one of Queensland's most sought after jockeys.
Joe, originally from NSW took the opportunity to transfer his indentures to Peter Hayes in Adelaide seeing out his time before cementing his position as one of South Australia's best jockeys
