A proportion of the proceeds will go towards helping underprivileged children, via The Shane Warne Foundation Shane Warne has had many honours bestowed upon him during his illustrious career - one of the 5 Wisden Cricketers of the century, the only current player in the Australian Team of the century, the leading wicket taker of all time in Test cricket, as well as others.
However, the most recent honour is possibly the best, the MCC commissioned renowned artist Fanny Rush to paint his portrait to hang in the Long Room at Lords in London to hang alongside the other immortals of cricket.
Shane is only the third Australian, after the incomparable Don Bradman and Keith Miller, to be granted this honour and the only player whilst still playing.
