A stunning limited issue photographic masterpiece featuring the most exciting batsman of the modern era, 'Richards - The Master Blaster'.
On March 13, 1981, Viv Richards reached one of the pinnacles of his burgeoning sporting career. In the 3rd Test against England at Bridgetown, Barbados, he struck an unbeaten 182 runs during the second innings, setting up a comfortable victory for his team. The innings was full of spanking cover drives and cut shots. This was noted by renowned cricket photographer, Patrick Eagar, who moved beyond the point position, and captured the definitive study of The Master Blaster in scintillating form.
The resultant photograph of Viv Richards at the crease is striking, and well-deserving of the title 'Photo-Classic'. It is as any lover of cricket would remember him aloof, imperious, and in total command as he smashes the ball to the boundary fence.
