For almost twenty years, Australian racetracks have played host to one of the most popular – and successful – motor racing teams of all time. The Holden Racing Team (HRT) was born in 1990 out of the Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) joint venture between Holden and the internationally successful TWR Group .
