Each of the 100 timber footballs has been signed by the 26 members of the Wallaby squad, plus coach Jones, in stunning gold metallic ink – directly on to the wood. The team that staged yet another thrilling Bledisloe spectacle has personally and individually signed each timber football, marking 5 years of Bledisloe Cup supremacy from 1998 to 2002.
Limited Release
Each year 100 Wallaby Timber Footballs will become available for that year. The 2002 ‘1st Issue’ is likely to be highly sought-after in years to come.
The 2002 debut issue includes an exclusive deluxe, full-colour commemorative booklet (see panel).
Unquestionable authenticity, fully endorsed
Such a distinctive release will need the ultimate assurance of authenticity. Independent authenticity is furnished by PricewaterhouseCoopers who attend the signing session and who provide a Certificate of Authenticity & Limitation with each edition. All work is done in accordance with Australian auditing standards.
