Now is your chance to own this very collectable Nike Socceroos shirt signed by Socceroos star Harry Kewell. This shirt comes beautifully framed with TWO photos of Harry. Since the 2006 World Cup, this is the only Harry Kewell officially signed individual product to be released.
Arguably the most well-known footballer ever to come out of Australia, Harry Kewell is the shining light for the Socceroos.
In November 2005, Australia, aided by super Kewell's efforts, qualified for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. It was the first time Australia had qualified for the World Cup since 1974. Kewell was instrumental in the Socceroos' home defeat of Uruguay, turning the course of the match when he entered as a substitute. Kewell scored the first penalty for Australia in the deciding penalty shootout.
During the 2006 World Cup in Germany, the Socceroos needed a draw against Croatia to qualify for the second round and King Harry responded when he scored Australia's second goal to equal the score at 2-2. The rest is history as the Socceroos completed their most succesful tournament ever.
