On 12 June 2006, Australia met Japan at Kaiserslautern Stadium in their first match of the 2006 FIFA World Cup held in Germany. Japan scored early and led for most of the game. Cahill was brought on as a "super-sub" in the second half and in the 84th minute he slotted home a low swivelled drive and scored Australia's first ever World Cup goal to bring Australia level. With Australia driving forward, Cahill curled in a second goal from outside the box in the 89th minute to put the Socceroo's in the lead.
Tim Cahill has personally signed this Nike T90 soccer ball. That is presented in a wooden polished stand with plaque .The ball is a limited edition of 50 worldwide.
You will also receive a registered certificate of authenticity from Tim Cahill with your purchase and a photo of him signing the ball. This product is fully endorsed by Tim Cahill and Tim Cahill Pty Ltd.
